Kelantan went into the second leg of their 2013 Malaysia Cup
;quarterfinal match against Johor Darul Takzim with a two-goal deficit,
but they did more than enough to recover, and ran circles around the
visitors to make it to the semifinal.
Choosing the man of the
match was particularly challenging, as the Red Warriors performed
spectacularly to keep JDT out of the match and take the win. But their
forward Norfarhan Muhammad ; ;stood out, racking up two personal goals,
and providing two assists from the six goals produced.
His first
was a beautifully-struck shot from the edge of the box that left JDT
goalkeeper Zulfadhli helpless in the 19th minute, which also helped
Kelantan settle into the match, whereas his second in the 62nd minute
showcased his clinical finishing, when he squeezed in a shot into the
far bottom corner of the goal, ;having first evaded a defender. ;
